in the roof of the guest house is made from re-cycled
material.

and shower water goes into a "grey water"
underground storage tank and is used to water our beautiful
gardens.

Kitchen
waste (fruit and vegetable peelings) is composted for
use in the garden.

Supplies
for La Fontaine are bought locally with re-usable carrier
bags.

Glass
bottles are recycled at the local bottle bank.

Pool
chemicals used are environmentally friendly –
no chlorine and can be used to water plants.
- Glass,plastic
bottles, tin cans are sent for re-cycling to a local bottle
bank
- No
chemical fertilizers are used in the gardens
- Electricity

possible, please take a shower instead of a bath.
Try
not to over-fill the victorian baths.
Re-use
bath towels if you are staying more than one night:-
Towels hung up will be left for re-use,
towels left on the floor or in the bath
will be washed and replaced.
